Sir Paul McCartney had not been to Nashville in 36 years. So many years ago, he came to hang out on a farm for 4 weeks and write.
But this time, he was here to perform, and did he ever! I bought my tickets last minute and had floor seats fairly close to Front of House. The sound was amazing and his 2 hour 45 min. of non stop music was emotionally charging and inspiring. 23 Beatle songs and about 13 or so of Wings and his solo work. Was hard to believe that he is 68 as he covers the whole stage, singing some vocally demanding songs, and jammin’ out on the Hofner bass. Seeing McCartney is something that I suppose is on most people’s ‘bucket list.’ If he ever comes to your area, do yourself a favor and go see him! You won’t regret it!
